I love this app and use it all the time to SSH into my servers. However, I’ve recently found that I can’t switch between tabs when clicking on them.

Hands down my favorite CLI & SSH app and I use it every day. The magnitude of QoL improvements (both in quality and quantity) in Core Shell vs other basic CLI applications cannot be overstated, and it’s one of those things you never realize how nice it is until you have to use something else. I regularly connect to 4-5 different machines using SSH, often more than one at a time. Having all the connections I use in a list, with names that make them easy to identify, being able to open one or more connection by clicking on them, then having all open connections as tabs in a single window is an incredible user experience. Additionally, the connection configurations allow me to use a different color scheme for each connection, so identifying which machine I’m connected to in any given tab becomes second nature as they all use unique background/text color schemes. Overall the best CLI app I’ve ever used and I cannot say enough good things about it.

The SSH algorithms screen leaves a lot to be desired, and it appears to ignore settings you put in there.

CoreShell is my default Terminal app on macOS and has been so for a long time. It maintains a list of several SSH connections (each of which can be heavily customized in appearance and behavior) but offers a Local Terminal as well. Quick Download/Upload is a killer feature because it enables file transfers between client and server via drag and drop. The developer is very responsive and helpful with support requests and bug reports.

best ssh app all time

Does not work for even the Local Defautl on Macbook Pro with Apple Silicon: after app boots, the Local Default profile shows a blank window without a command line. SetApp should contact the developer to fix this or add a disclaimer that it doesn’t work on Apple Silicon.

挺好的用的

Very good SSH tool I use almost every day. I’d wish for Core Tunnel to also be on Setapp :)

Love it! It makes my life much easier to manage multiple servers. Also, love the sync features since I have two computers.

Really good! I’m using all the time. For me, using SSH as a daily tool this helps a lot to. The feature to set background color in profile is magic to keep sessions apart.

This is the best application on the market if you want an application that says your command is cancelled as soon as you type a key on your keyboard

Sometimes the tabs lost focus and cannot be clicked. It is very annoying

Not easy to use

Absolutely perfect, my favorite alternative to Terminal though my needs are fairly straightforward.

upon opening the app completlely locked my entire computer. Couldn’t access anything. Had to do a hard restart and then finally was able to get things to work.

font rendering is kinda weird.
