Nice and simple app. What I am looking for. Wish I could make the text bigger tho. The large option is too small. Would that be possible in the future?

Thank you! đ Hearing that hora feels nice, simple and like what you were looking for genuinely means a lot to us. And yes, the âlargeâ text option could clearly be doing a better job at being large :D . Weâll take a look at it, and hopefully we can improve this in the next update. Thanks for pointing this out.

A quick update since your review: weâve shipped several improvements to calendar sync, including better Google error handling, safer initial sync, and fixes for a few cases that could cause syncing to stall. We canât say for certain that we fixed the exact issue you ran into, but weâd really love to find out. If you give Hora another try and still see the error, please reach us at [[email protected]]or on our Discord. Feedback like this helps us catch real-world cases we simply canât reproduce on our own, and weâre genuinely grateful for it, even when itâs not the review we hoped to read đ And if syncing works better for you now, weâd really appreciate it if you considered updating your review. đ

The app looks great. I would love iCloud support so I could actually try it out.

Barebones and extremely specific to a narrow use-case. A big Pomodoro timer next to a sparse calendar UI. If you want anything more than GCal lets ou do online or you have a large list of contacts, or a lot of meetings or dont want to see a pomodoro timer blocking 20% of your view then this app is functionally less useful than having your GCal tab open I cant organize calendars of my contacts or my resources, I cant hide the pomodoro timer I dont use, I cant change preferences of how many all-day events i see and I cant even bulk select/deselect what is synced. If you follow 100 calendars on GCal the onboarding here is worse than abyssmal, you will be clicking checkboxes all day to deselect those contacts individually when the UI loads. Not sure what I get passed data sync, I gave the app a good 15 minutes to sit there Sync data and it never finished on a fast office connection. I know I have years of contacts and events history, but prefetching that is pointless, we live in the now

A little update since your review. Your 100+ calendar setup became a very useful stress test for us đ Weâve changed the first sync so only your primary calendar is enabled by default; the rest can be searched and switched on in Settings. We also reduced the initial sync window and improved handling of larger calendar responses. A few points are still fair: thereâs no true bulk select/deselect yet, Pomodoro still canât be hidden, and all-day event controls need work. Reviews like yours sting a little, but they also reveal cases we wouldnât have found ourselves and weâre genuinely grateful for that. If you try Hora again, please tell us how it feels at [[email protected]] or on Discord. Weâd love to keep improving it with you. And if the changes make a difference, weâd be very grateful if you considered updating your review. đ

I like this app but have three key suggestions: ⢠Hide or collapse the left and right sidebars by default. I donât need to see all my calendars or shortcuts all the time â I chose this app to find something better than Google Calendar. ⢠Replace the always-visible right-sidebar shortcuts with more useful content, for example: â An agenda view â A list of upcoming meetings with join links ⢠Move the âCalendarâ and âInvitationsâ tabs to the top. They control what appears above them, so they belong at the top of the interface.

Thank you for the thoughtful and specific feedback. Your suggestions around making the sidebars less prominent, using the right sidebar for an agenda or upcoming meetings, and moving Calendar and Invitations to the top all make sense. Weâre actively improving the layout and will take these ideas into consideration for future updates.
