clunky and outdated, and it honestly seems like a lot of the apps on here are the same in that regard.

Clunky UI that makes it difficult to manage anything.

I’ve used Merlin for maybe 15 years. First as downloaded licenced software. I use it for one purpose only - to create Gantt charts we add in our customer proposals. So I use maybe 2% of the features. There is one annoying glitch. The way I work is that I open a previous project, change the name and chanced dates. Then I export it as a PDF to include in our proposal for a new customer. But the export retains the name of the previous project. So it does not export with the name of the renamed project.

Doesn’t understand the basic scheduling techniques like FS or SF.

Fairly powerful project management tool considering price within SetApp. Does miss a few features from the full Merlin Project / MS Project grade - but you pay a lot more for those. In terms of basic waterfall project with resource assignments, critical path, FF / SF dependencies and so in - it does the job.

Does a solid job. Wish it's ourput could be slightly prettier, but at the end of the day it's a project management tool, so functionality is the key thing, and it does a fantastic job on that front.
