Show keyboard input in a clean overlay that stays visible long enough to read, then fades automatically. Held modifiers appear live, while repeated keys collapse into a counter instead of filling the screen. It gives viewers the context they need without interrupting your explanation.

Switch between three modes depending on the situation. Key Trail shows every key for detailed teaching, Commands keeps ordinary typing hidden and displays modifier shortcuts, and Private Pulse shows only activity and tempo without revealing what you type.

KeyPulse does not use an account, cloud sync, or telemetry, and keyboard data never leaves the Mac. It uses Input Monitoring without requesting Accessibility permission, so it cannot click or type for you. When macOS Secure Input stops delivering keystrokes, KeyPulse lets you know instead of simply going blank.

Choose from six visual styles, nine positions, three sizes, and an adjustable trail duration. Send the overlay to your main display, the display under the pointer, or every connected display. Click rings and a cursor halo can make mouse actions visible too, while optional mechanical key sounds add another layer of feedback.

Focus, Teach, and Stream workspaces change several settings at once. Focus keeps things quiet and hides characters, Teach shows detailed input and held modifiers, and Stream emphasizes commands, clicks, and a bolder presentation.

Optional local insights show keys per minute, your current streak, today’s and all-time key counts, recent commands, and frequently used combinations. Statistics stay on the Mac, can be turned off completely, and can be erased with one click.
