VoxDesk is an AI meeting transcription app for Mac. Record or import audio, transcribe it through Setapp AI, then review clear transcripts, summaries, decisions, risks, and action items in one workspace. You can edit the transcript, clean up speaker names, and export the result as Markdown, TXT, JSON, or SRT. Your local meeting library stays on your Mac; AI steps happen when you start them.

Record or import meetings
Start a live recording or bring in an existing audio or media file. VoxDesk gives each session a home, so your meeting does not wander off into “where did I put that?” territory.
Turn audio into readable transcripts
Send selected audio to Setapp AI for transcription, then review timestamps, speaker labels, and text in an editable transcript. Fix names, clean up wording, and keep the useful bits close.
Get summaries and next steps
VoxDesk pulls out key points, decisions, risks, owners, and action items. So instead of replaying the whole meeting, you can jump straight to what needs doing.
Enhance voices before transcription
Use local voice enhancement to reduce low-frequency noise, shape speech, and adjust gain before sending audio for AI transcription. Cleaner input, less transcript weirdness.
Keep a local meeting library
Session metadata, copied audio, transcripts, and summaries are stored in VoxDesk’s local Application Support folder. Setapp credentials are protected in macOS Keychain.
Export notes your way
Save meeting results as Markdown, TXT, JSON, or SRT captions. Handy for docs, team updates, workflows, or captions that need to leave the app and go do their job.
