Available refund period

• You canceled your subscription to Setapp.
• You didn't install or open any apps from Setapp during the billing period for which you applied for a refund. However, you can install and open the Setapp desktop to get information about the apps or remove them. This will not be considered an obstacle to obtaining a refund. This condition does not apply to Setapp Single App - installing and using the app does not affect your refund eligibility.
• You apply for a refund no later than 14 or 30 days after the last payment (depending on your app plan billing period).

Note: Uninstalling Setapp doesn't terminate a subscription to Setapp.

Setapp may decline refund claims in the following cases:

1. The software is purchased for the wrong platform.

Example: You bought the iOS version of the software but tried to install it on a Windows PC. Since you purchased the software for the wrong platform, you cannot claim a refund.

2. You install or open any app from Setapp in the billing period you applied for a refund. This condition applies to Setapp Membership only.

Example: You downloaded an app from Setapp. Once you open this app, you cannot claim a refund.

3. We do not offer refunds or credits for price differences if an item you purchased is later offered at a discounted price during a limited-time promotion or special sales event.

Example: If you buy a product for $100 and it goes on sale for $80 the next week during a special promotion, we will not refund or credit the $20 difference.

4. Please enter discount codes or coupons before completing your order at checkout. We cannot apply discounts retroactively to orders that have already been placed.

Example: You have a 20% off coupon for Setapp but forgot to use it when buying a subscription to Setapp. Later, you ask the support team to apply the discount to your past purchase. This request will be rejected.

5. Setapp Credits aren't refundable. You can't return, transfer, or exchange Credits for cash or anything else of value - whether they came with a Setapp Membership plan, with a Setapp Single App subscription, you bought them in bulk or received free of charge in our discretion as part of a promotional program, trial, or similar offering. If your paid subscription included Credits and we refund that subscription, you get that payment back in full - the refund amount isn't adjusted for Credits, and Credits aren't paid out separately. Any Credits from that subscription are removed from your balance. For details on how Credits work, see the Setapp Credits section of the Customer’s Terms of Use.

Example: You buy 1,000 Credits and use 500 of them. Neither the used nor the unused Credits are refundable.

6. We don't pro-rate refunds. If you cancel your subscription, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, but the unused part of that period isn't refunded. When a refund does apply under this policy, it's issued in full, not as a partial amount.

Example: You're on a yearly plan and cancel after seven months. You keep access until the end of the year you paid for, but the remaining five months aren't refunded.

7. Please note that we can only accept refund claims for products purchased via Setapp.

If you made your purchase through a third-party reseller (e.g., Apple App Store), you must contact the reseller directly to request a refund. Their policies govern these transactions.

Apple App Store: If you made your purchase via the Apple App Store, your transaction is governed by Apple's refund policy. The Company is unable to issue refunds for payments processed through Apple. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support directly.

Authorized Resellers and Retailers: If you purchased our software through a third-party retailer, reseller, or online marketplace, please note that the refund and return policies of the respective seller apply. MacPaw is unable to process refunds for these purchases. Contact the seller directly to request assistance.

If your refund request is declined by the third-party seller for any reason, MacPaw cannot issue a refund on their behalf.
