If minimized to the dock the app will often stop tracking time. If I try to edit a timer the buttons for “cancel” and “set” do nothing when clicked, making the only way to exit the timer editing window to hit escape and back out of edit mode without having successfully edited anything.

Not as easy as others

Nice idea but unuseable. I have a late 2020 high-spec iMac. Focused Work crashes withing seconds of opening it. Very disappointing as I need what this app offers.

I like it so far But those “quirky, fun reminders” are an app killer. Imagine a focus app that interupts my focus actually gets me physically angry.

really handy, no nonsense timer. I do find the knocking a little intrusive sometimes, but other times, it does rightly get my attention so I guess I can live with it! One thing I would like to see is the ability to shrink it right down as, even on the smallest size, it still takes up quite a lot of the screen. If we could make it smaller to the point where we just see the timer, that would be excellent.

Keeps exiting when I close the window and the notifications aren’t visible enough show when the session has ended. It also takes up a lot of space in the menu bar because the option to hide the intention doesn’t seem to work sometimes.

Nice and clear interfaces. One can make it better by allowing to turn on/off the "knock" functionality, because it may distract me from the flow

Can't be in the forefront, can't block other interfering windows, no integration with GTD software

Currently segfaults when renaming a new session. unusable for me this way.
