please remoave the background audio

Does this upload then download the picture or use the process power of the MAC? It took 5 hours to do 150 large files. I created a Macro in Phohtoshop to do each one in 10 seconds each file. Good lord that is bad slow.

Great little utility, but why doesn’t it appear when you drop a file onto it?

I wish there were more tutorials or even tooltips within the app!

This used to be a helpful app. It would squash images, which was all I needed. Now it's some kind of weird mishmash of 400 options I don't need.

it's great, with one big caveat... no documentation. just a list of features, with no idea how to use them. zen mode and filter packs are probably useful but you will have to try them to see what they actually do. after a bit of trial and error, it's quite a usable app.

Really liked the speed and size of the resulting files

Trying to conver from svg and nothing happens, at least it can say that it can’t covert it. Maybe I can use it for other formats in the future.

This revised review concerns Squash in January 2026 and highlights another application on Setapp which has not been updated since 2024, exceeding 400 days. It is difficult to believe that the developer of Squash has been unable to implement any improvements or performance optimisations. I am beginning to think that Setapp’s quality is declining.

Love the app

It works fine, except for saving. Only way to make it work properly, is to quit and restart for a new picture. That make’s it a bit cumbersome

There’s something really iffy about the PNG export. Weirdly slow, and the results do not appear to be compressed.

this app is a great help. I needed batch export with resizing and renaming for webp files and this was perfect.

Doesn’t optimise PNG.

Infelizmente não está sendo possivel fazer a conversão em massa de arquivos JPG to WEPG, ele só deixa fazer um por vez não importando vários arquivos de uma vez para a conversão.
