I love the concept, but it hasn’t been maintained and currenly has a showstopping crash, as well as some nasty bugs. I had to stop using it. I reported the bugs and crash in March of 2025. No updates since then.

Unfortunately too buggy and slow on a M2 MacBook Pro. Any tree larger that ~160 items makes my scrolling dip into single-digit frames per seconds making unusable. Other that that, with small trees/projects, it is a brilliant software. Fast-forward to 2025: Unfortunately, still unusable and laggy.

On OS 12.5: Cannot create a task or anything. No right mouseclick options to work with. Doesn’tw work at all at my end.

Excellent, but not for every single kind of job. I used it to help me plan a basement renovation and it was EXCELLENT for that end. However, I also run a SaaS business and this approach to modeling work/tasks was slightly incompatible. However, I don’t fault this app for that. The nature of work is incredibly complicated, lots of different workflows and different requirements. This app handles a few slices of that and does it very, very well. In my opinion, that’s exactly what an app should do, rather than trying to do everything at a mediocre level. Love the app, cheers to the developers, keep up the fantastic work.

Great idea but sadly very buggy (for example when you create a new task instead of the interface defaulting to change the task’s title, it changes the Project’s title???). Also cannot drag tasks from one to another to link them. I feel like this could be the perfect app for me but it’s not there. Intergration with Reminders (i.e. a new way to visualise your existing tasks) would be amazing.

Terrible. A sub-task can’t be completed without the parent task being considered completed? i.e. with a series of 5 tasks grouped under a parent task, completing task #1 completes the parent task and orphans tasks #2-5. Also, a subtask can’t be fully moved to be a subtask under a different parent task because there is no way to detach the subtask from the original parent. Complete waste of time.

The app has a bug (apparently for quite some time) where people can't do anything when they first open it. To fix this, try dismissing the system notification regarding the app being able to send you notifications. This solved it for me. That said, the app is buggy regardless.

I appreciate the app's sleek, minimalist design that includes all the essential features I need. The fluid animations and intuitive layout make it genuinely enjoyable to use. If the app offered a way to share projects with others, even just through iCloud, I would feel confident using it to manage all my projects collaboratively.

Same problem as others. I launch the app and nothing works. This is a bad enough bug that the developers should have found it and fixed it, rather than asking for customer input.

Come on! Are you not testing the apps before releasing?! Everybody says the buttons and actions don't work. This is exactly what I also get. Don't publish if you are not planning to maintain. Everyone, don't waste your time on this one! And SetApp team: please, remove these kinds of non-working apps. Please.
