Whatsapp is not working anymore

Was good, but no longer working. Embedded browser asking for 85 we’re on 160+ - Soooo many critical security flaws have been fixed since then.

Update to my review below: The WhatsApp service no longer works; it wants Chrome version 85+ while the current version of Chrome is 142. The company has not updated the app for 4 years including the AppStore version (though their website has been updated to indicate IM+ works for ChatGPT). It is starting to look like “abandonware” and SetApp should either pressure the developers for an update, or look for an alternative app which is functionally equivalent. —— Great app! It actually works for the services I’ve tried, it allows multiple service registrations (ie. 2 different Twitter accounts), and so it has become my go-to communications hub. I wish it had Signal and Mastodon though. And a plugin architecture where independent developers could add new services.

La aplicación desde la ultima actulalizacion no funciona bien, no se pueden anadir ficheros. ni imagenes ni nada tan solo funciona chatear.

Broken app. IM+ has been using Chrome at it’s core, and the Chrome version hasn’t been updated in years (!). Since the app handles your login data for every communication channel you’re using it for, this poses an enormous security risk. I would kindly ask Setapp to investigate this and give us feedback on possible security breaches 🙏. Also, remove the app for the time being.

Its not working anymore

Please update your software! Unfortunately IM+ is currently not working.. is asking for Chrome update but it has been done. Also it has been having troubles with image uploads, file sharing it hasn’t been working for a while. When it was working.. It was great 😉

App is out-of-date. Asks for Chrome 85+. I have 142 installed.

The app is completely out of date and won't let you send images or audio files. On top of that, it won't let you use WhatsApp anymore. A message pops up telling you to update Chrome. “WhatsApp works with Google Chrome 85 or later versions”

For some time now, it has not been possible to send images or files; there is always a transfer error and no update is available.

No updates, it has become unusable. Setapp, it’s a shame you keep it in the catalog. —— This was my previous experience. Great product. Puts everything in one place and allows for better focus.

Looks like the dev has given up on it. Not working any more and disappointing that Setapp is still providing a broken app

Not updated in over 5 years. Seems like abandonware. The app also makes zero attempts to fit into macOS.

War ziemlich gut, aber nicht perfekt. Whatsapp konnte keine Anhänge versenden. Jetzt funktioniert er gar nicht mehr. Angeblich Browserversion veraltet. Was nicht stimmt. Kontakt mit Support bleibt unbeantwortet.

Please update! Don’t work anymore!
