It is a very good app. Great use however, red is good and green is bad that doesn't make any sense.

Don’t work on Intel Macs… SetApp AUTO installs the newest version EVEN if my Mac doens’t support it… **That’s just STUPID!** SetApp should just leave whatever version will work on the Mac… UPDATE 07/31/2024: I received an email from MacPaw Customer Support stating: “I wanted to inform you that your recent feedback regarding the NetSpot app on Setapp has been removed as per our standard review process. We are also pleased to announce that the vendor has submitted a new build of NetSpot, which has been confirmed to operate successfully on Intel-based systems. “ THIS IS HORRIFYING CENSORSHIP. They should have told me about the update and update my review of the NetSpot app after it’s recent update. This makes me think LESS of MacPaw & SetApp.

NetSpot is by far the best tool I’ve found to find issues with your home networking setup. I was fortunate enough to have existing blueprints of my home left by the previous owner, so I took photos of them, imported them into the app, and seconds later was able to start mapping signal strength around the house. It has a *ton* of data, and lots of different ways to measure what a quality signal looks like. It’s incredibly powerful, especially if you know what you’re doing. If I had to suggest one thing, it would be to invest in an experience that analyzes the data for you and makes some practical recommendations, so you don’t have to do that research yourself. Like having a virtual technician!

The best of the network analysis apps for macOS that I've seen. I'm hopeful that it will be even better now with version 4. (There were definitely some rough edges but version 3 was still quite useful.)

Application non native sur Apple Silicon

After updating today, my tens of hours project is ruined. The readings and building plan no longer match. I haven’t changed anything, just updated. Update: I contacted Support and I received inmediate help. They fixed the bug in hours.

An excellent tool for wi-fi trouble shooting. I just bought another wi-fi router and the app automatically found it with out any trouble.

Incompatible con Mac. Instala versión ARM en un Intel. Y demuestra que setapp depende del etiquetado correcto para funcionar. Y cuando falla no hay más opción que tener copias de seguridad uno mismo, ya que no existe modo de reinstalar una versión que funciona de verdad en tu sistema.

Easy to use with a set of comprehensive tools. The Planning capabilities were everything I needed as a networking student.
