Powerful app. I use it every day because I like it *enough*. The two areas it needs to improve most are (1) speed and stability and (2) Calendar Sets (to quickly show/hide lots of calendars at once) Update: Yep, they have Calendar Sets. But they also have a discoverability problem. I never expected calendar sets to be hidden until Filters. Now that I’m using them, I’m realizing that the core problem is that BusyCal halts every time I show a hidden calendar while it processes data (1). When using Calendar sets, this means that I have to wait multiple *minutes* for each change—and I can’t interact at all with the application while waiting. I often get an Application Unresponsive warning from macOS. This is way too slow for a production applicaiton. Update: I’m getting tired of how buggy and slow this app is. It constantly feels out of date with my Google Calendar, and I frequently need to leave it for calendar.google.com to schedule appointments with colleagues anyway.

One of the best apps in Setapp, I love it! Keep up the good work guys. But I’m missing the iOS app in Setapp :( that would be perfect.

Great bundle with BusyContacts. That’s my main calendar app pulling together Google, iCloud and Exhange calendars.

My go-to calendaring app, love it. It’s difficult to find the sweet spot in usability and features but BusyCal does it for me.

Love the app and how it allows me to manage different gmail accounts in it, including changing a invite from one to another. The only thing missing is having the iOS version within the Setapp

An amazingly flexible calendar designed for maximum productivity. The developers of this app seemed to have thought of everything and then some.

Excellent. The calendar app to beat, and I’ve tried most of them! Finally something that isn’t filled with bugs or pieces of UX that make no sense.

Great app to seel all my work in one view

I am switching from fantastical as money saving move and used both during transition. Putting aesthetics aside, it is a good replacement.

Great addition to my workflow. After switching from Fantastical, this is the next best thing.

BusyCal get so many advanced things RIGHT, and so many basic things HORRIBLY WRONG! The bugs are both mind-bogglingly careless & yet long-lasting. BusyCal annoyingly opens itself EVERY TIME an alarm dialog appears. This is horrible UX. The alarm dialog should be a part of the helper app that runs in the menu bar, and there should be no need for the full app to open. Also, the menu bar app should make it SUPER easy to open the full app, without having to drill all the way down to a specific meeting. Why can't we just click on the calendar in the helper? But the absolutely worst problem with BusyCal is that the calender displayed in the menubar DOES NOT UPDATE until you open the main app. This is an atrocity of the highest magnitude possible for a calendar app. THE CALENDAR COMPLETELY FAILS TO ALERT YOU WHEN YOU HAVE AN ALARM! This MASSIVE BUG must be fixed before any of BusyCal's features will matter. If the MOST BASIC feature of a calendar fails, none of the others matter.

when you click ‘add’in 3-day weidge on Mac,it will do nothing and then the add button in Mac app windows will lose its fuction,you have to kill the app and relaunch to solve it; icloud account has reminders and so ‘reminder’ itself does,i dont understand it.

This is an EXCELLENT calendar and task app. Easy to use, super powerful, hasn’t had any issues with syncing. Highly recommend it.
