Absolute nightmare this app. Constantly eats up CPU with its so called health monitor process telling me my RAM is full but when I look at my RAM its Mac Cleaner that consumes mos of it as well. I prefer Mac Cleaner Pro. Works flawlessly and doesnt eat up my resources.

The best app for cleaning mac app. Just one click and it’s find all „trashy” things on your mac. I highly recommend

First, let me state I like the Application, BUT, when cleaning up, it turns most of my disk permissions to garbage. Also, it most always leaves remnants of applications behind when they should have ALL been removed. PLEASE FIX THIS!

It just works

This is the worst. I used it yesterday to clean my mac, I thought "Why not running it after some time" and it made my mac completelly unusable. An App I use – Raycast crashes all the time, hasn’t my snippets anymore and I can’t login. I had to make a clean install of PhpStorm, Mamp Pro was absolutelly unusable anymore. This App should be named "DestroyMyMac" and nothing else…

I have used CleanMyMac for many years and it is still one of the first apps I download when I get a new Mac. I consider it an essential app and remain very pleased with its performance in keeping my macs safe and well functioning.

Super application. Très simple d’utilisation et efficace!

Best app on Setapp. This is essential, IMHO. Look, all of these functions can be done without the app using term commands, and a little elbow grease; but that’s the point. Having all of this done in a smooth and seamless way makes managing these tasks so easy, and that means very little friction in keeping my mac healthy.

Was good. Got slow. Example: Now, to deinstall, it has to scan my programm folder like an old school app and needs over a minute on an M2 Air. Nope

My experience with CleanMyMac was extremely disappointing. After running a standard cleaning process, the app corrupted keychain and iCloud system files, causing constant login prompts, iCloud sync failures, repeated password requests, and multiple system service errors. Keychain Access, Messages, iCloud, and several apps became unusable. Despite following all recommended fixes, the damage was so severe that I ultimately had to create a completely new macOS user account to restore normal functionality. No maintenance app should interfere with critical system components, yet CleanMyMac did exactly that. I cannot recommend it.

Great app. Must have for any Mac.
