Keeps crashing. Can't even open the app

Tried this app years ago but somehow it was impossible to grant it «full disk access». Tried it today and its still impossible to grant full disk access.

Using it since 1.5 years, works great. Both backups and incremental archives work and restore as expected.

Seems to work

Several times a year my encrypted backups become corrupt and cannot be mounted. It’s been like this for several years and I simply cannot trust this tool.

Crashed and corrupted my SSD.

Hi, I tried to use the app to automate the backup of some files with compression. However, the app keeps asking me for giving “Full Disk Access” even though is it enabled. Moreover, the app requires to enter the Admin password to read files and create a zip, not acceptable. I gave it a shot but it’s not working for me.

Should be renamed to Get Backup Slo It is super slow to backup a user folder to a disk image, even onto fast 10Gbps SSD. The app just takes a long to build file lists and transfer the files. I have used other backup utilities that can transfer the entire user folder contents to the same SSD in minutes. This app takes more time just building the file list to be copied without even copying a single item.

Not really a fan. It claims to do incremental backups but doesn’t. After 5 or so full backups my HD is full. Going back to Time Machine I suppose.

Works for simple cases, but fragile with respect to things like filenames which are valid on MaacOS but invalid on SMB shares. Disappointing.

App is freezing and won’t open. So frustrating.

This is the first time I've used it, so I set it up carefully, tested it manually, waited for the scheduled task to run... and... bam... it crashes. Uninstalled and forgotten. I still use my own scripts to save my mac then…

le clonage ne peut pas se faire en version bootable même en respectant toutes les indications de Get backup Pro. Annulation de l’abonnement Setapp à cause de cela. Dommage mais bon pas de vrai service client.

Never worked, resource hog

Stops working about once every couple of months and need to set it up again.
