UninstallGuard is an app uninstaller for Mac that shows its work. It finds the files an app leaves behind, like preferences, caches, support folders and login items, and tells you exactly why each one matched. Nothing is selected for you, and everything you remove goes to the Trash, so you can always change your mind. It also tracks down leftovers from apps you deleted long ago.

Evidence for every file

Each match shows its path, its size and the exact reason it belongs to the app. Four plain labels sum it up: Safe to Remove, Probably Leftover, Review or In Use.

You make the call

A scan is information, not permission. Nothing starts selected, and a weak match never gets promoted to safe.

Trash first, always

Whatever you approve moves to the Trash, not into the void. A running app can't be removed, and Uninstall History keeps a record of every removal.

Orphan hunting

Possible Orphans finds files left by apps that are already gone, including leftover login and background items. It stays cautious: orphans are never marked safe or picked for you.

Bulk Uninstall

Clear out several apps in one go. You review each app's files and confirm each app before anything moves.
