Save videos for offline viewing
The Internet can let you down. Downloaded videos — never. Here’s how to pull videos from the internet and trim them on your Mac with Pulltube.
Grab, trim, download
Paste or drop a video link onto Pulltube — could be a link from YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, or any other video platform.
Once Pulltube has fetched your video, you can tweak a few things before downloading:
change quality (it’s also possible to extract audio)
choose if you want to download subtitles with your video
trim your video so you don’t have to download the whole thing if you only need a part of it. You can trim manually or by timecodes.
Ready to download? Hit the large red button on the bottom. Your video or audio file will automatically be saved to Downloads or the folder you select. You can also use Preferences to set the app to always open the downloaded file in a specific media player.
Don’t let internet quality stand in the way
Poor internet? Pulltube will help steady your nerves. As one of your fellow Setappians suggests, you can use Pulltube to download videos that you want to watch without interruptions.
But that’s only one use case. You can use Pulltube if you’re a video creator, want to watch movies on a plane, or looking to save some video memories from your social media.
