Session

Session helps you refine focus by working in timed bursts with regular breaks. Customize timed intervals of focused work to your work rhythm and boost your productivity with effective time management. Got interrupted? Pause a session whenever you like. Before a session starts, you’ll be prompted to breathe in and breathe out, then get to work.

Usually, there are specific things that make us lose our focus. Maybe you tend to wander off to your social media a bit too often, or decide to do a quick catch up on the news when you should be working. With Session, you can disable access to distracting websites or apps on your Mac and stay focused on your tasks. You can also automatically mute a Slack team when your session begins.

Once you complete a session, take a moment to reflect on your experience. Did it go well? Did you feel distracted, neutral, or focused? How productive were you? Write a few words or select an emoji to track your mood during the session — this will help you see the bigger picture at the end of the day.

The app has a session log where you can track your progress by days or weeks. See your most productive moments, find patterns, and adjust your workflow to accommodate your personal focus habits.
