GestureCraft
Custom gestures for your Mac
GestureCraft is a custom gesture app for Mac. Pick a trackpad gesture, a keyboard shortcut or a mouse button, then pick what it does: snap a window, open an app, press keys, or run a Shortcut or script. Every rule reads like a sentence, so setting one up takes seconds. It lives in your menu bar and sits at near-zero CPU until you use it.
Snap windows with a trackpad swipe
Launch apps with a tap of your fingers
Give extra mouse buttons real jobs
Run Shortcuts and scripts with a gesture
GestureCraft features
Gestures with range
Taps, double-taps, holds, swipes and hold-then-swipe, with two to five fingers. Map each one to exactly what you want.
Mouse buttons that earn their keep
Click, hold or drag with your middle, back, forward and extra buttons, and give each drag direction its own action. Hold a button and move to scroll, even on a plain two-button mouse.
Keys work too
Start a rule from any keyboard shortcut, or from a media key like volume or brightness. The media key still does its normal job.
Actions that do real work
Snap windows to halves, quarters or the next display. Open apps, links and files, press a keystroke or a whole sequence, paste text, or run an Apple Shortcut or shell script.
Different apps, different rules
Scope any rule to every app or just one, so the same swipe can do one thing in your browser and another in your editor.
Light, local and private
GestureCraft sleeps when nothing is touching the trackpad, so it sits at near-zero CPU. There's no account, and everything you set up stays on your Mac.
