Most desktop widgets ignore your background. Lumen's don't. Each widget samples your actual wallpaper and tunes its glass surface to the colors sitting behind it. Tell Lumen which corner of your screen your widgets live in, and it samples just that corner — so the match is always accurate, not approximate.

Choose from ten accent colors or set a custom one. Pick one of eight numeral styles — from a featherweight hairline to a bold serif or a dot-matrix throwback. Switch between three glass surfaces: Glass, Smoke for bright wallpapers, or Frost for light setups. Dial the glow up or down, then apply everything to all widgets at once with a single click.

Lumen's widgets aren't just for looking at. Tap a reminder to check it off. Start a focus session and watch the timer count down live on your desktop. Skip tracks or hit play on the Apple Music remote. Log a glass of water. None of it opens another app — it all happens right where you're already looking.

Track up to three stocks. Watch CPU, memory, GPU, and storage refresh across a single pane as often as every 30 seconds. Check today's weather, your upcoming calendar events, or your reminder list — and tap any of them to open Apple's own apps if you need more detail.

Lumen ships with 55 5K wallpapers made for the aesthetic — deep blues, auroras, earth tones, neons, and light options. Applying one takes a click, no trip to System Settings. Import your own images and they join the collection permanently, glass-sampling included.

Close Lumen's window and it disappears from the Dock — every widget keeps running, but the app stays out of your way. No account to log in to, and none of your data ever leaves your Mac.
