Tables, footnotes, task lists, callouts, fenced code blocks inside lists — Marked QL handles the tricky syntax that plain Quick Look ignores. Powered by Apex, it supports CommonMark, GitHub Flavored Markdown, MultiMarkdown, Kramdown, and more, all in one engine.

Need to preview a document with LaTeX equations or a Mermaid flowchart? Marked QL renders both. MathJax handles inline and block math; Mermaid takes care of sequence diagrams, flowcharts, and more. No plugins, no configuration required.

Code in your Markdown actually looks like code. Marked QL uses highlight.js with a choice of syntax themes, so reviewing technical docs or READMEs is easy on the eyes — not a wall of monospace text.

Marked QL follows your system appearance automatically, so previews look right whether you're working in light or dark mode. You can also pick from different preview styles and even apply custom CSS to match how you like to read.

Working with longer Markdown files? A built-in table of contents lets you jump between headings without scrolling through the whole document. Quarto support and configurable front matter display are there for power users who need them.
