Ortix is a Mac-native workspace browser that brings your tabs, tools, and AI into a single layout. Let OpenAI models act as your personal web agent to fill out forms and navigate sites, or use built-in local AI to securely summarize text offline. Handle multiple projects at once using a floating mini browser, side-by-side split views, and a dedicated media player with per-tab audio control. Built on WebKit, Ortix keeps you focused, blocks ads, and eliminates constant app switching.
Automate browsing with AI agents
Keep tasks in a floating mini browser
View tabs side-by-side with split view
Mix volume and float videos anywhere
Ortix features
Put AI to work as your web agent
Ortix doesn’t just answer questions; it takes action. Connect the latest OpenAI models to turn your browser into a personal web agent. It can navigate sites, fill out complex forms, and handle repetitive online workflows for you. For offline research, switch back to built-in local AI to summarize pages without sending data to the cloud.
Multitask with Mini Browser and Split View
Keep an eye on reference articles or videos with a mini browser window that floats securely above all your other macOS apps. Shrink the window, and it automatically loads mobile versions of sites to save screen space. Need to work inside your main workspace? Use Split View to stack two tabs side-by-side seamlessly.
Deploy the Mini Browser instantly
Work faster without losing your place. When you click a link or an attachment inside an email, Ortix intelligently deploys the mini browser right over your active tab. Finish your quick task, close the floating window, and continue exactly where you left off without any disruptive back-and-forth navigation.
Take control with the media player and mixer
Never hunt for a noisy tab again. Ortix features an integrated media player with an advanced audio mixer, letting you adjust volume on a per-tab basis to perfectly balance background music with incoming calls. Switch tabs freely, and your videos will automatically stay visible using smart Picture-in-Picture.
Write perfectly and block distractions
Write emails, forms, and messages with total confidence. A built-in grammar checker works instantly across any text input field on the web, highlighting mistakes right where you type. Plus, a native ad blocker stops aggressive trackers and annoying pop-ups from ruining your focus.

It’s the third time I return to Ortix and I see it has improved on a lot of the things I didn’t like when I tried it previously. The developers seams quick to answer and implement user requests. It’s becoming my favorite browser.
