RedactSense is a PDF redaction tool for Mac that finds and permanently removes sensitive info, all on your device. Load a PDF or scanned image, and the AI spots names, Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, addresses, and more. Review each detection, tweak what you need, and export a clean file. No cloud, no uploads, and no black boxes hiding data that’s still there.

RedactSense features
Fully offline AI
The AI runs entirely on your Mac. Your files never leave your device, and nothing gets sent to a server. That means you can redact sensitive documents without wondering where they end up.
Permanent removal
Drawing a black box over text only hides it, and anyone can lift it off. RedactSense removes the data from both the file content and the metadata. Once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.
PDFs and scanned images
Got a native PDF or a scanned page? RedactSense handles both, using OCR to read text in scans. Load the file and let the app do the searching.
Review before you redact
You see every detection before anything is removed. Accept the right ones, dismiss the rest, and add your own if the AI missed something. You stay in control from start to export.
Unlimited files
There are no caps and no per-file limits. Redact one contract or a whole folder of records, as often as you need.
Built with privacy rules in mind
RedactSense is HIPAA-ready and GDPR-compliant, made for people who handle sensitive files and can’t afford mistakes. Share documents safely, with less worry.
