Plan your week your way
Switch between week and month views. Drag events to a new time, resize them on the timeline, and search across all your calendars.
Add events like you say them
Tell hora what’s happening in everyday words. Quick Add fills in the details, so creating an event feels less like filling out a form.
Keep your next meeting close
See what’s coming up from the menu bar. Join Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams calls with one click.
Make time for focused work
Schedule blocks for deep work without turning your week into a puzzle. hora helps you protect time for the things that need your full attention.
Bring your Google accounts together
Manage multiple Google accounts in one place. Color-coded calendars keep work, personal plans, and everything in between easy to spot.
Stay native and private
hora is built in SwiftUI and connects directly to Google Calendar. There are no web views, tracking tools, or intermediary servers getting in the way.

It’s an okayish calendar app, as in.. it’s very nice.. But.. I have specific colorcoding in my Google Calendar which gets overruled and I can’t seem to keep it as is, very anoying..

Thank you — and glad to hear you like Hora overall 💛 Could you send us a few details at [email protected] about how your colors are set up in Google Calendar and what Hora is showing instead? We’d love to understand exactly which setup we’re not reproducing correctly so we can fix it.

I wasn’t able to get it to sync with my Google Calendar. I posted something in the Reddit forum but haven’t thought to check back. Update: the developer followed up and gave me a solution. Working great now with many thanks!

So happy to hear it’s working now! Thanks for giving us the chance to dig into it. Turning a sync headache into “working great” is exactly the kind of update we like to see. Really appreciate you coming back to update your review, Jon!

hora looks and feels like a native MacOS app but lacks snappy interactions. Resizing and clicking buttons is slow and opening the sidebar is laggy. hora is a good calendar app that just needs performance improvements.

Thanks so much, glad hora's been useful day to day. And fair point on the performance, that's definitely not how we want resizing, buttons, or the sidebar to feel. We haven't been able to confirm this on our end yet, so we don't want to promise a timeline, but we'd really like to track it down. If you're up for it, could you drop us a note at [email protected] with your Mac model/chip, macOS version, and roughly when it happens (right after launch, after the app's been open a while, or in one specific view)? That's the fastest way for us to actually reproduce it and speed things up. Really appreciate you taking the time to flag it.
